Hi, I’m Niharika — a developer, designer, and lifelong learner pursuing my MS in Computer Science at NYU.

Most Recently: Backend Engineering Intern at Toricent Labs, where I’ve developed 50+ AWS Lambda functions, architected secure APIs, and led a high-impact Firebase → AWS migration to improve performance, scalability, and reliability.

  • Engineered and deployed 50+ AWS Lambda functions integrated with API Gateway, DynamoDB, and CloudWatch; validated endpoints via Postman.
  • Led an end-to-end Firebase → AWS migration using Cognito, SES, SNS, and Secrets Manager to redesign for scalable serverless architecture.
  • Operated as the sole server-side owner in a fast-paced startup, delivering robust APIs, auth flows, and real-time data pipelines for the production app.
